Stuffed Shells

One of my favorite dishes to make for family & friends; it’s easy to make and a huge crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 24 ounces of part skim ricotta cheese

  • 3/4 cup parmesan

  • 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 egg

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & parsley to taste.

  • 30oz of red sauce or 2 cans of Jar sauce

  • Jumbo Past Shells

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350° Start boiling water

  • While water is boiling start cheese mixture, part skim ricotta cheese, cup parmesan, cups shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & parsley.

  • Once water is boiling add in jumbo shells, cook jumbo shells al dente about, 6 minutes. Drain shells & set aside.

  • Coat a glass baking dish with red sauce.

  • Fill each shell with cheese mixture and place on top of sauce in baking dish in a single layer.

  • Cover with more red sauce and then shredded mozzarella cheese.

  • Bake for 25-30 mins
